Feng Shui 2013 Afflictions

Feng Shui 2013 - Afflictions, Updates and Renovation Rules

2013 is the year of the Snake which begins on the 10th of February 2013 based on Lunar Calendar. Contrary to what many people in the West think, the year of the Snake does not start on New Year Day i.e 1st of January. Chinese lunar calendar observes the phases of the moon, which most Chinese are familiar with. However, Feng shui masters and Chinese fortune tellers refer to the Solar Calendar instead, also known as the Hsia Calendar, for the purpose of plotting feng shui charts. According to the Hsia calendar, the new year starts on the 4th of February 2013. Therefore, when placing cures and activators based on Time Feng Shui, it's best to do so one day before i.e. 3rd February 2013. We will not delve into the reason why the use of Solar over Lunar calendar here as it is a whole lengthy article by itself.

If you are a Time Feng Shui practitioner, one example the annual flying star updates, you would know that there are different afflictions that occur in any space during different year and month periods. These afflictions can exert malevolent influence that manifest into misfortune, bad luck, sickness, hostility, aggravations and injuries. They need to be attended to yearly, before you enhance the auspicious ones. Only when the negatives are subdued that you can enjoy the positives. What good does it make if you have good wealth luck but bedridden with illness most of the time? Cures can be put in place but avoidance is best.
